"Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today." Malcolm X
Color My Dreams Africa
Imagine a child who has never seen a storybook in their life, a child that has never seen a computer or laptop in their life, set foot to the nearest town, never seen a bus, a train or an aero plane before. A child whose dreams are confined by the horizon of their village, a horizon that unfortunately includes the threat of FGM and forced marriages This is the reality for many pokot children, a marginalized, pastoral and patriarchal community in the Nothern part of Kenya. But what if we can bring that world and dream a little closer to them? empower them to dream beyond these confinements? At Color My Dreams Africa that’s exactly what we do. We believe in the power of education to transform livelihoods.
