Who We Are


We are a grass root organisation fighting illiteracy & gender inequality in West Pokot county.

In communities where there are only two or three schools,one toilet between multiple families,where people are illiterate,girls dropping out of school due to FGM and boys leaving school for initiation ceremonies then books are not a luxury in this situation matter of fact they are even more essential and critical.

What We Do

-Bridging the gap

We provide opportunities for children in rural areas who struggle to access quality education

-Building libraries across the rural parts of the county

We build libraries across the rural parts of West Pokot County

-Digital literacy

Empowering rural women and girls through digital skills in order to succeed in an increasingly digitised world

-Adult education

Through the acquisition of education, individuals will be able to promote better livelihoods opportunities
